Can You Prevent Cellulite?

Cellulite is basically lumpy fat deposits that appear underneath certain portions of the skin. In some women these are a source of great insecurity that makes them loathe their bodies. Preventing cellulite therefore becomes an important self-esteem issue that has to be dealt with before it materializes.

The first thing you must do is exercise. Go outside for a jog with the dog or even cycling with your partner. These simple exercises can be enough to release the body heat that can burn down fats. The other thing you can do is walking exercises to improve the circulation of blood in your system, a good way to make sure fats don't build up. As well, you should investigate certain cellulite exercises that specifically focus on reducing this form of fat.

Avoid foods that contain a lot of fat. Cellulite is the visual manifestation of fats that have accumulated below the skin over the years. Fast foods contain a lot of harmful fats that are hard for the body to digest; cut these out from your diet immediately. Deep fried foods, ice cream and margarine have to be eaten sparingly.

A negative calorie diet is a sure fire way to ensure that excess body fats are taken care of. Negative calorie foods are acidic to a point where they promote the burning down of food. Acidic fruits and vegetables mustn't be taken in excess though. Negative calorie food examples are lettuce, watermelons, oranges, grapes, papaya and lemons.

Alcohol, cigarettes and coffee should be eliminated from your diet or taken in moderation. These substances contain cellulite toxins responsible for making the digestion of fats seemingly impossible. If you take in too much of these cellulite toxins you will obviously struggle to prevent cellulite because there will be nothing to stop fats from accumulating.

But if cutting down on cellulite toxins is too much for you, you can try water therapy. Water is by far the healthiest substance in the universe. It has so many qualities you'll be amazed. Water can reduce the cellulite toxin levels by greatly neutralizing them. Take in a lot of water, at the same time as you reduce your intake of coffee and alcohol.

Cellulite creams can be used to wash away any cellulite that is starting to form. When applying the creams you can use massage techniques. A massage will increase the effect because it also burns out fats under the skin.
