Don't Underestimate The Importance Of Fitness In Women

Fitness in ladies plays as giant a role, if not more, than fitness in men? Did you know that fitness plays a much bigger role in the life of a woman? This is just because girls naturally have a higher share of fat in their bodies than their male counter parts! No, you're getting it wrong ; I'm not talking about heavy women! I am talking about ladies, regardless of what their age and body weight!

Why We Put on Weight simply

It isn't something we can help! It's the absence of testosterone in our bodies which is in charge of the lack of muscle building! Not only that, ladies, as they age, are more likely to lose muscle mass at a high rate, than men!

So, if you are considering how you are suddenly putting on weight even though you are working out regularly, you know that the fault doesn't lie with you! The loss of muscle and its subsequent replacement with fat means a slower rate of metabolism and we all know what that means! So fitness in girls is critical, because for us, it is that much harder to stay fit.

Pearls of knowledge

Here are a few pointers to get you going.

One. Find some form of physical activity which you actually enjoy doing and stick to it.

2. While exercising, set yourself a goal, attain it and then push on. But at the same time, ensure that your goals are pragmatic and achievable.

3. Make time everyday to exercise. It's best if you make this exercise time non-negotiable! Give it uttermost concern. Remember, this is about you and your fitness.

4. If you're working out and becoming bored of it, then what about putting together a new set of exercises? Variety is the spice of life and let's be truthful here, who likes doing a similar thing over and over again anyway?

5. If you do not like exercising, at least walk for half an hour a day. Folk watching, listening to your favorite songs or an audio-book while you walk will keep you going.

6. Lastly, do not feel guilty if you give it a miss a few times due to inevitable circumstances. While fitness in girls is important, it's also necessary to keep feeling positive to stay inspired.
